As a member of the Daimler Trucks division of Daimler AG, Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation is committed to a Vision of Sustainability. In terms of the environment, that means the company bears responsibility for the sparing use of the planet’s resources and for maintaining an intact environment – for present and future generations.
Mitsubishi Fuso’s particular expertise lies in the design and production of hybrid vehicles. The company is Daimler Trucks’ worldwide competence center for hybrid electric vehicle technology development.
The company has also made significant progress in reducing CO2 emissions from its plants. Green procurement and recycling programs are also expanding.
Mitsubishi Fuso is committed to helping build a society where environmental preservation and economic development can be achieved concurrently.

	In Japan, Mitsubishi Fuso markets the Canter Canter Eco Hybrid, a hybrid-drive light-duty truck with world class emissions performance and fuel economy. The pioneering light-duty vehicle is also being fleet-tested in Europe.
	Mitsubishi Fuso also produces the Aero Star Eco Hybrid city bus. Available in Japan, the buses uses a combination of diesel engine and electric motor to power the vehicle with optimal energy usage and low emissions.
