  Quality built in at every stage

In Japan, Mitsubishi Fuso trucks and buses are produced at the Kawasaki Plant, Nakatsu Plant, Oye Bus Plant and the Mitsubishi Fuso Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

The Kawasaki Plant is the core truck production facility. It features a fully integrated production line that brings together engines, transmissions, axles and vehicle assembly to produce the full range of Fuso heavy-, medium- and light-duty trucks under the most stringent quality control.

  Paint Shop

In 2006, Mitsubishi Fuso opened a new, state-of-the-art vehicle paint facility at its Kawasaki Manufacturing Plant. The new facility is designed to increase environmentally-friendly operation while delivering maximum paint quality for customers.

The facility, 31 meters tall and encompassing 17,000 square meters of floor space, is utilized to paint light-, medium- and heavy-duty truck cabs. It incorporates the latest in vehicle paint technologies including advanced exhaust controls, coating systems and energy reduction processes.

A leading customer benefit is increased potential to paint more colors. Due to the new capabilities, Mitsubishi Fuso has the possibility to significantly increase color availability, in order to meet a variety of customers’ needs.
