| Kitsuregawa
Proving Ground |
The
Kitsuregawa Proving Ground was commissioned in 1980 to provide test
course facilities for validating the development and testing work.
The capabilities of the facility have been boosted since 1980 with
the addition of an anti-lock brake test circuit, an EMI testing wing,
engine research wing, and drivetrain component testing wing. To anticipate
and meet future needs and requirements, the facility is currently
engaged in advance research into engines and other components, vehicle
on-road testing, as well as bench testing of function, performance,
durability and reliability. The facility's high-speed circuit is
one of the largest in the world for trucks and buses. |

depot center and a motor pool for finished vehicles. The production
line is equipped with the special plant and equipment required for
machining and carburizing transmission gears, and is laid out for
maximum production and in-plant handling efficiencies. The Quality
Control Department is fully equipped with engine bench and cogwheel
inspection facilities. |
