Originally, the truck cab was attached directly to the frame. To improve the ride, cab suspension was added to suspend the cab from the frame. Besides absorbing shocks and vibrations from the road, cab suspension also reduces vibrations from the engine.
As an additional cushion against shocks, suspension was
