Mitsubishi Fuso Truck (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
With Seiji Akiyama as New President & CEO

Kawasaki/Bangkok - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) today announced the appointment of Mr. Seiji Akiyama as President & CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (MFTT), effective June 1, 2009. He succeeds Dr. Rudolf Steinle, who enters retirement. In his position, Mr. Akiyama will be based at MFTT’s Bangkok-area headquarters and will be responsible for all aspects of MFTT’s business operations.

A 29-year veteran of the company, Mr. Akiyama has significant industry experience including Mitsubishi Fuso’s Asia and ASEAN operations, covering the company’s Thailand business. He most recently served as Market Manager for Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China.

MFTBC thanks Dr. Steinle for his leadership and achievements during his tenure as President & CEO of MFTT since September 2005.
