•  Annual Award Given for Holistic Performance in Vehicle Sales, Aftersales, Branding, and Other Measures

Kawasaki Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, has recognized P.T. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), Jakarta, Indonesia, as its international “Distributor of the Year 2010.” The annual award goes to the international distributor with the strongest overall performance in the past years in vehicle sales, after sales, customer service and other factors.

Through KTB, Mitsubishi Fuso sold over 30,000 units in 2009, achieving an approximate 51 percent wholesale share of the truck and bus market. In the light-duty truck segment, KTB achieved a market share of around 58 percent. KTB also demonstrated strong performance in customer support, parts and service.

“Mitsubishi Fuso is proud to recognize KTB as our ‘Distributor of the Year 2010,’” said Mr. Kai-Uwe Seidenfuss, MFTBC Vice President of Sales & Service International. “Especially considering the economic crisis in 2009, KTB delivered a strong performance and clearly maintained its focus on the customer. We congratulate the colleagues at KTB and look forward to working together to further enhance our leadership position in Indonesia.”

Mitsubishi Fuso is the long-time market leader for commercial vehicles in Indonesia, with an average market share of over 50% since 2007. Indonesia is Mitsubishi Fuso’s largest export market.

Mitsubishi Fuso has presented its international “Distributor of the Year” Award since 2007. Previous recipients are Auto Hall, Morocco (2009) and Vina Star Motors Corporation, Vietnam (2008).

Mr. Seidenfuss concluded: “Mitsubishi Fuso has a strong, comprehensive global network including some of the world’s leading automotive distribution companies. Together with our efficient and reliable products, Mitsubishi Fuso’s network is a key competitive advantage which allows us to deliver excellent service and a very positive ownership experience for our customers.
