PRESS RELEASE

Mitsubishi Fuso To Join Safety Program for Families
Sponsored by Automobile Journalists

September 30, 2010

•  Exhibiting Super Great Heavy-Duty Truck During “Traffic Safety Program for Mothers and Children”
•  Teaching Truck Visibility and Safety
•  Event Runs October 2-3 in Odaiba, Tokyo

Kawasaki - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, will join the “Traffic Safety Program for Mothers & Children” of the Automobile Journalists Association of Japan (AJAJ). MFTBC will exhibit its Super Great heavy-duty truck during the October 2-3 event, which is part of the “Motor Sports Japan 2010 Festival in Odaiba,” to be held in Tokyo in the same period.

AJAJ holds the annual event as a voluntary project to promote traffic safety for mothers and young children. This is the ninth year for the program.

MFTBC supports the objectives of the event, and will exhibit the latest Super Great heavy-duty tractor in a display that offers activities such as “Experience How Bicycles and Passenger Cars are Seen from a Heavy-Duty Truck” and “Check Blind Corners of a Heavy-Duty Truck.”

The purpose of these activities is to provide participants with opportunities to actually sit in the driver’s seat of a heavy-duty truck, so they can understand how people and objects are seen from a truck. The overall aim is to recognize risks and prevent accidents.

The event will also offer various information and tips related to passenger car safety and ecology, tailored to mothers and children.

MFTBC continues to proactively join and cooperate in safety events to promote greater road traffic safety.
