Mitsubishi Fuso and Nissan Conclude Formal Contract
For Light-Duty Truck OEM Supply for Japan

•  New Models to be Named Mitsubishi Fuso “Canter Guts” and Nissan “NT450 Atlas”
Kawasaki/Yokohama - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd today announced the conclusion of a formal contract for reciprocal original equipment manufacturer (OEM) supply of finished light-duty trucks for the Japanese market.
The formal contract was concluded based on the strategic partnership between Daimler AG and Renault-Nissan Alliance announced on April 7, 2010 and is intended to enhance the light-duty truck business of both companies in Japan.
Details of the Reciprocal OEM Supply: Starting January 2013
•  Nissan to supply the “Atlas F24” light-duty truck (payload 1.15-1.5 tons) under the model name “Canter Guts” to Mitsubishi Fuso
•  Mitsubishi Fuso to supply the “Canter” light-duty truck (payload: 2.0-4.0 tons) under the model name “NT450 Atlas” to Nissan
