Mitsubishi Fuso Starts Delivery of Light-Duty Trucks to UD Trucks for Sale in Japan

Kawasaki, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, today announced it has started delivery of its light-duty trucks to UD Trucks Corporation (UD Trucks) for sale in Japan. The official contract had been finalized on June 25, 2014, regarding MFTBC’s OEM (original equipment manufacturer) supply of light-duty trucks to UD Trucks.
The start-of-delivery celebration event of the UD Trucks “Kazet” light-duty trucks was held at MFTBC’s Kawasaki Plant joined by UD Trucks and MFTBC Board Members including Mr. Yusuke Sakaue, UD Trucks President & Representative Director, Mr. Takao Suzuki, MFTBC Chairman of the board and Mr. Yoshiro Motoyama, MFTBC Senior Vice President Head of Operations Trucks & Buses.
The “Kazet” light-duty trucks are based on MFTBC’s light-duty truck platform and are for sale in Japan.
