Mitsubishi Fuso Launches Medium-Duty Truck Fighter

Tokyo - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation today announced an exciting new evolution of its medium-duty truck Fighter. With a newly designed cab and interior, the new Fighter extends the well-known vehicles reputation for reliability, economy and performance. The company will begin selling the newly designed truck at Mitsubishi Fusos Japan dealerships nationwide on October 5. The medium-duty truck Fighter made its original debut in 1984, as a completely revised model of the companys FK series. Since then, the Fighter has become the truck of choice for thousands of commercial vehicle operators. The new Fighter is also the first model produced in cooperation with DaimlerChrysler, of which Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation is a fully integrated business unit. Built with an optimal level of comfort and performance features, the new Fighter is designed to balance comfort, operational excellence and general economy. It was designed, developed and built to achieve maximum quality and safety. |

About the New Fighter |
The New Fighter is intended to deliver outstanding reliability. The product was designed to balance all aspects of commercial truck performance at a high level, and is front-loaded with numerous features sought after by customers. It was developed using a new, holistic system called FUSO PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, which is aligned with the international standards of DaimlerChrysler. During the development, Mitsubishi Fuso subjected the product to an extensive testing program which added new test items and featured an extended durability test component. |
