Fuso Continues Support for Japan through
“Fuso Kids Future Sketch Contest”

March 9, 2012

•  Commitment to Supporting Ongoing Reconstruction Efforts in Japan
•  In Hope for Bringing Forward Steps into Future

Kawasaki - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, today announced it will hold “Fuso Kids Future Sketch Contest,” applicable by all pre-school children in kindergarten and nursery schools in Japan. Under the overall theme of “Future,” kids are asked to expand their imagination and fill a blank sheet of paper with color, hope and happiness, such as “dream towns they want to live in,” “how vehicles will look like in the future,” and or “any nice-to-haves in the future.”

On the strong basis of its 30-year history of “Mitsubishi Fuso Kids Sketch Contest,” the company is renaming the contest this year to “Fuso Kids Future Sketch Contest,” and providing a platform to once again think about the future and overall feel enthusiasm in taking forward steps through the kids’ sketches full of inspiration and hope. Since the East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, Fuso has put first priority on delivering its trucks and buses to customers under one philosophy, to help support the reconstruction efforts in Japan.

Entries are received during the period from Sunday, April 1, to Thursday, May 31, 2012, at all Mitsubishi Fuso Japan dealers and regional sales centers. Winners will be selected in early July after a comprehensive selection process.
