Fuso Wins Major Truck Order in Gulf Cooperation Council

•  245 Fuso Trucks to be Delivered by January 2013
Kawasaki - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) today announced that its local distributor in Saudi Arabia, Alesayi Motors, has won a major order from “National Plant for Healthy Water,” also known as Hana Water, one of the biggest water bottling manufacturers in the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Middle East region. MFTBC, one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, is providing a total of 224 units of Fuso FE Canter light-duty trucks and 21 Fighter FK medium-duty trucks, marking a very positive step for the company’s business in GCC and bringing additional momentum to Fuso’s overall international business in 2012.
The first 97 units of Fuso’s robust, fuel-efficient Fuso trucks will join the customer fleet in October 2012, with the balance to be delivered in the following months through January, 2013.

The 245-unit order increases the total Fuso fleet of this particular customer to about 900 units. It was facilitated through the efforts of the Fuso Global Key Account Management team.
