FUSO Develops New 6M60 Industrial Engine Model with
Enhanced Environmental Performance and Fuel Efficiency

Kawasaki, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, today launched its newly developed 6M60-TLE3BA industrial engine model meeting Japan’s latest 2011 emission regulations applicable for heavy-duty special-purpose vehicles. FUSO’s robust, fuel-efficient industrial engines including the 6M60 are already widely used in Japan and international markets for heavy-duty construction machineries such as excavators and rough terrain cranes, and on mobile motor-generators.
Main characteristics of the 6M60-TLE3BA
•  Complying with the latest Japan’s 2011 emission regulations for heavy-duty special-purpose vehicles: Achieving 88% lower PM and 45% lower NOx emissions compared to 2006 emission regulations.
•  Adopting a common-rail system for precision injection control
•  Equipped with a regeneration-control DPF for emissions gas after-treatment system
•  Incorporating a high-performance cooled EGR system for enhanced fuel efficiency and lower NOx emissions
