FUSO Wins Major Truck Orders from P.T. Linfox Logistic Indonesia

Kawasaki, Japan - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, today announced that its local distributor in Indonesia, P.T. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), has won a 50-unit truck deal from P.T. Linfox Logistic Indonesia (Linfox). These orders show continuing success for FUSO in the Indonesia market, the companies biggest export market. The 50 units of FUSO’s robust, fuel-efficient Canter “Colt Diesel” light-duty trucks was handed over to Linfox on October 31, 2013, at KTB Head Office in Pulomas, East Jakarta, joined by the members of the media.
Linfox Logistics is the largest privately-owned supply chain solutions company in Asia-Pacific. Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, Linfox Logistics operates nearly 5,000 vehicles across 10 countries.
FUSO has been present in the Indonesian market since 1970 and has established itself as the leading commercial vehicle brand. FUSO is the market leader in the overall truck segment with a 44.9 % market share so far this year. The FUSO Canter is the top-selling light truck in Indonesia with a market share of 52.8 % in the light duty truck segment and is contributing significantly to the seven-digit sales milestone.

Mitsubishi Fuso in Indonesia
Mitsubishi Fuso is the number one commercial vehicle brand in Indonesia, with a leading market share of 44.9% in the overall truck and bus segment (January-August 2013). In the light-duty truck segment (5-8 tons GVW) served by the Colt Diesel, the company continues to prove its leadership position with a market share of 52.8% percent (January-August 2013). Over the past five years, the company has sold over 260,000 units in Indonesia, including light-duty trucks, medium-heavy-duty trucks and light-duty bus chassis.
The company is celebrating its 1 millionth sales milestone since its market entry in 1970. Mitsubishi Fuso products for Indonesia are distributed by P.T. Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB). MFTBC holds 18% of KTB shares.
