Kawasaki, Japan–Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), one of Asia’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, today announced that Ms. Jecka Glasman has succeeded Mr. Todd Bloom as president and CEO of Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) effective July 1, 2015.

Ms. Glasman joined MFTBC in November 2014 and has served as MFTA’s Business Development Director, where, in addition to her normal duties, she has been able to work alongside Todd Bloom to help ensure a smooth transition in leadership and the continuity of a strategic approach to the market.

“I’m very excited by this opportunity and looking forward to growing the FUSO business in the US and Canada. Further, I would like to thank Todd Bloom for his leadership and commitment in driving the company forward,” Ms. Glasman says.

MFTA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MFTBC, markets a complete line of Class 3 through Class 7 diesel-powered, medium-duty cab over trucks through more than 200 dealer locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. More than 100,000 Mitsubishi Fuso standard, 4-wheel-drive and crew cab trucks have been sold in North America to fulfill the transportation needs of a wide variety of businesses and industries, including beverage, catering, refrigerated and dry cargo delivery fleets, vehicle recovery, towing, pest control, plumbing, light construction and landscaping.

In 2015, MFTA celebrates its 30th anniversary following its founding in 1985.
