Winter Escape on the Alaska Highway

    日本語

A frostbitten race against the setting sun in the shadows of the highest peaks in North America.

In this episode of Go Beyond, Ben and Rebecca battle sub-zero temperatures and minimum daylight hours to make the nearly 2,500km journey across the Alaska Highway from Palmer, Alaska, to Dawson Creek in British Columbia, Canada.

The two travelers take us on an awe-inspiring winter wonderland adventure through the sublime frozen topography of snow-capped mountains and aspen woodland. Along the way, the couple share the road with wild bison, spend the night at the famous Sign Post Forest and defrost in the thermal waters of one of the largest hot springs north of the US border.

ABOUT BEN & REBECCA  For more than a decade, life-long travelers Ben and Rebecca Pazdernik have enjoyed life on the road, venturing beyond the glacial beauty of their home state of Alaska to roam the vast North American continent. Having built an international online audience in the process, in 2018 the couple purchased a FUSO FG140 4×4 expedition vehicle to embark on an extraordinary around-the-world adventure.
