INTRODUCTION

Safety and Comfort: Two Ideals Come to Fruition

The Rosa is the result of a thorough examination of the driving environment of small buses from various perspectives, including drivers, passengers, and even pedestrians, in pursuit of the required performance without compromise. Small buses have a strong impact on people’s daily lives as shuttle buses, school buses, community buses, and rental cars. Now, equipped with the highest level of safety, sophisticated comfort and excellent driving performance required, the Rosa is ready to run smartly.

Matured Technology Provides Excellent Safety Performance

To provide passengers with an unshakable sense of security, we have pursued superior safety performance in the Rosa. In addition to analyzing and verifying various driving conditions, Mitsubishi Fuso’s world-class advanced technologies have been applied. The result is safety performance of unparalleled quality.

Optimizing Driving Performance, Efficiency and Environmental Impact

High Performance 4P10 Engine with BlueTec® Technology Lower Environmental Footprint

High performance and highly efficient combustion engine helps suppress PM generation. The combination of advanced technologies, such as regenerative DPF and BlueTec® exhaust after-treatment system (urea SCR), achieves a high level of both fuel efficiency and environmental performance, with reduced CO2 emissions.

The Only※ 4WD Light Duty Bus in Japan

In addition to 4WD, a low-floor makes it easy to get on and off. The Rosa with cold weather specifications such as a 10kw pre-heater standard.

Equipped With Full-Time 4WD (VCU-Type LSD Center Differential)
When a difference in rotation occurs between the front and rear wheels on slippery road surfaces, the viscous coupling optimally controls torque distribution to achieve a high degree of driving stability. This also eliminates the phenomenon of tight corner braking when turning at low speeds.

Standard-Equipped Features Around 4WD
● Cold-weather specifications (pre-heater 10 kW / fuel filter with heater / antifreeze solution for -35°C)
●4WD emblem (attached to the lower rear of the vehicle)

※ According to our research. Long body

* This 4WD is mainly intended for general driving in urban areas. It is not designed for driving on rough terrain. The minimum ground clearance is also lower. It is effective for driving on snow-covered and icy roads, but please do not overestimate the power of 4WD.

Real-time information on buses in operation (vehicle position and trajectory, safe driving, fuel consumption, etc.) can be checked on a PC or other terminal owned by the remote fleet manager. In addition, when the driver error response system or Active Brake Assist 4 (secondary braking) is activated, an emergency message is sent to the operation manager. The system also keeps a history of the activation of the Lane Departure Warning System and Active Side Guard Assist.

TOTAL SAFETY

Committed to Active Safety Technology for Accident Prevention

Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS)

The high-precision millimeter-wave radar mounted on the front bumper detects moving or stationary vehicles and pedestrians*1 in front of the vehicle. When a collision is detected, the system alerts the driver and automatically activates the brakes*2 to help avoid a collision or mitigate damage from a collision.

*1: Detects only moving people.
*2: Activates under specific conditions.

Detects vehicles and pedestrians* in front of the vehicle and assists in collision avoidance and mitigation through warning and braking.

* Pedestrians are detected only when moving. The system reacts to pedestrians according to steps 1 and 2 as shown above.

Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)

If the driver does not operate the turn signal on the highway, etc., and the vehicle deviates from the lane, the white line recognition camera*1 detects the deviation. The system alerts the driver and encourages safe driving. (with LDWS cut switch)

*1: The system also recognizes yellow lines. The system is activated when the vehicle speed exceeds 60km/h.

Alerts the driver if the vehicle deviates from the lane, minimizing accidents.

Electronic Stability Program (ESP®)

If the vehicle is in danger of skidding or rolling over on a curve, the system controls the engine drive power and the brake power of all four wheels. The system helps to optimize the vehicle’s posture and avoid the danger of skidding or rolling over. (with ESP cut switch)

Stabilizes the vehicle’s posture during cornering on slippery road conditions to prevent skidding and rollover.

Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)

The SRS airbag system is standard equipment to protect passengers from impact in the event of an emergency. Driver’s seat only for school bus models.

* The SRS airbag system, an occupant protection device that assists seat belts, is activated in the event of a lateral impact.
The SRS airbag system only activates when an impact from the front direction is detected. The SRS airbag system is activated only when it detects an impact from the front direction that is greater than the set value. This system is based on the premise that seat belts must be worn, so be sure to wear your seat belt. Please read the instruction manual carefully. For details, be sure to read the instruction manual.

Hill Start Assist Function & EZGO

The hill start assist function is available for AMT models. After stopping the vehicle on an uphill surface, the function temporarily maintains braking power until the driver takes his/her foot off the brake pedal and steps on the accelerator pedal. (EZGO is available for M/T models.)

● AEBS is not designed to avoid collision or mitigate damage from collision in all situations, and its recognition and control performance is limited. The AEBS is not designed to avoid collision or mitigate collision damage in all situations. The system may not work depending on the situation of the car in front.
● The LDWS is intended to assist safe driving and is not designed to enable drivers to sleep or take their eyes off the road. The LDWS may not be able to assist driving when white or yellow lines cannot be recognized, such as when it is snowing, flooded, or backlit, or when visibility is poor due to rain or fog. Please operate the steering wheel according to the surrounding conditions and drive safely.
● ESP is not a device that allows you to drive beyond the limits of your vehicle; it is only effective when the grip of the tires does not exceed the limits.
