An Overlanding Oasis in Baja California, Mexico

    日本語

Beach camping on one of the world’s largest peninsulas provides the perfect setting for a vanlife utopia.

Freshly made fish tacos on beautiful windswept beaches—in this episode of Go Beyond, we see a different side of overlanding. Starting at Los Frailes, on the southernmost point of the Baja California Peninsula, Ben and Rebecca head into the colorful city of Los Barriles, before navigating dusty hairpin turns en route to Agua Verde.

Live the beach life vicariously as we follow the couple around the sand dunes in a UTV, snorkeling with sea snakes and stingrays, and stocking up on local Mexican flavors at a vibrant farmer’s market.

ABOUT BEN & REBECCA  For more than a decade, life-long travelers Ben and Rebecca Pazdernik have enjoyed life on the road, venturing beyond the glacial beauty of their home state of Alaska to roam the vast North American continent. Having built an international online audience in the process, in 2018 the couple purchased a FUSO FG140 4×4 expedition vehicle to embark on an extraordinary around-the-world adventure.
